Aude - Originally a part of the Languedoc-Rousillion - Now a part of L'Occitanie

Aude is a Department in the l'Occitanie Region of South-western France named after the Aude River.

Situated in the Central South of France and bordering the Mediterranean Sea. The Prefecture "County Town" is the medieval town of Carcassonne.
