Following several years of debate, the French Government have decided to group many Regions together, hopefully to make for better administration. The old regions of "Midi" + "Pyrenees" and "Languedoc" + "Rousillion" have become one of these super-regions.
Named Occitanie. It follows, more or less, the Historical Roman Province of Occitania.
This covers the new combined region which are the 13 Departments of Occitanie.
